Postharvest
According to the United Nations, one-third of food produced is wasted, postharvest losses. This contributes to the global food security issue. Postharvest loss is defined as the loss in either quantity or quality of food/crops after harvest.
At Crop-Heaven our goal to reduce postharvest losses using research-based technologies to maintain the nutrient profile of crops from the farm to the fork.
Our services include the development and optimization of
- storage conditions
- drying systems
- grinding systems
- extracting systems
- packaging and labeling
We also work with growers to develop standard operating documents (SOPs) to comply with health and safety regulations.
