Philip Wiredu Addo, BSc, MSc.A, QAQCC, PhD.
I am the Director of Crop Heaven, a cannabis consulting company specialising in quality assurance, regulatory compliance (Health Canada, GACP, GMP), auditing, cultivation and processing system optimisation, and research and development. With nearly 10 years of experience in the cannabis industry, I hold a PhD in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University and was a Schulich Fellow.
My work focuses on optimising postharvest processing technologies for medicinal plants, including cannabis and hops, and improving plant performance through a deeper understanding of environmental and biological factors. I have extensive experience in postharvest technologies, data analysis, and modern analytical methods, and have published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
I have led GACP- and GMP-related projects in Canada and internationally, worked as a Quality Assurance and Extraction Specialist, and currently serve as an external auditor for cannabis companies. I support small- and medium-scale agribusinesses by delivering practical, compliant, and profit-driven solutions.
